Retired Army Col. Lawrence Wilkerson had some strong word for the Republican Party after that comment made by Mitt Romney’s die hard supporter, John Sununu, who referred the endorsement of President Obama by Colin Powell’s as nothing but a black thing dismissing the impact of the endorsement showing of course the usual race pandering in the open which often is spewed by many Republicans these days.
During the Ed Schultz show on Friday, Ed asked Col. Wilkerson was asked what he thought of Mr. Sununu’s comment and this was what a decorated Republican Col. Wilkerson had to say in a grand scheme of things:
My party, unfortunately, is the bastion of those people, not all of them, but most of them, who are still basing their positions on race. Let me just be candid: My party is full of racists, and the real reason a considerable portion of my party wants President Obama out of the White House has nothing to do with the content of his character, nothing to do with his competence as commander-in-chief and president, and everything to do with the color of his skin, and that’s despicable.
Yes, that’s despicable indeed but I have said my peace on these Republican feces who have forgotten how America has been built.
Oh well, as usual, the Teabaging Republican Party just keeps continuing to undressed themselves in so many ways for the worst and we will be around to take it to the bank.
